The company Plusmar was founded in the seventies, in Buenos Aires, specifically in Quilmes. The company was created by entrepreneur Niper Teruel (popularly known as Don Niper).
Originally the company offered destinations and services to four different points on the Atlantic Coast of Argentina (la Costa Atlántica de Argentina), which over the years grew, as did the fleet and services of Plusmar.
